Blue Lightning can be used from the day you take your cuttings right up to 1 week before harvest.As a foliar spray on freshly taken cuttings, right up to harvest it is important NOT! to spray Blue Lightning more than once every 2 weeks, as mentioned earlier this will cause an overdose of nitrogen uptake from the plants food reserve resulting in the leaves burning off and ultimately killing the plants.Blue Lightning when used as a foliar spray once every 2 weeks will dramatically increase the weight of crop as well as general health of any bearing crop.

In independent tests using a pool of seasoned growers, Blue Lightning has proven to increase weight of crop significantly even when used as an additive for a "SUPER BOOST" to a variety of 2 part plant foods. In this type of application you would add 1 quart of Blue Lightning to 50 gallons of pre mixed plant food. This not only gives your plant food a "SUPER BOOST" it also keeps algae from growing in your reservoir. In turn this keeps your reservoir clean, and also keeps your flow table clean. Customers have informed us that Blue Lightning even looses up algae that has been built up on tables and inside reservoirs making a dirty table or reservoir that much easier to clean!

Remember, a clean growing environment is absolutely essential in reducing algae and insect infestations! This in turn gives your plants a fighting chance in producing maximum yield with an easily marketable crop.

On freshly cut cuttings you can spray Blue Lightning as soon as you have dipped your cutting into a rooting hormone and inserted it into a growing medium such as a rockwool cube. You will see at least a 25% increase in rooting time as well as a much healthier looking cutting. DO NOT spray Blue Lightning on unrooted cuttings more than once! If you do not have any roots on your cuttings within 8 days you are doing something wrong, in this case feel free to e-mail us or call us and we will help you correct your problem. An experienced gardener should see roots protruding from the cube in 6 days.

Blue Lightning will also solve any fungal diseases you may aquire such as powdery or downy mildew, just mix the Blue Lightning as required, unrooted cuttings need a more diluted mixture as opposed to a rooted plant. {see bottle for directions on different mixing ratios}. One foliar application will generally eradicate any mildew problems you might have.
